CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS HOLIDAY HOURS
The PTF will be closed on Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2 in observance of the Christmas and New Years holidays.  Also, a reminder that they are now closed on Saturdays until March.

THE PTF WILL BE CLOSED SATURDAYS DECEMBER THROUGH FEBRUARY
The Processing & Transfer Facility will remain open Monday-Friday, 7 am to 3 pm. during this time.  The Facility will reopen again on Saturdays beginning in March.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
It will re-open May 1, 2017.  For information on how to dispose of hazardous waste while we are closed, phone the Processing & Transfer Facility (PTF) at 715-258-6249.  For more information click here.

2016 PROCESSING & TRANSFER FACILITY TIPPING FEE
Effective January 1, 2016, the PTF tipping fee for Solid Waste is $72.00 per ton, with a minimum charge of $15.00 for up to 400 lbs.  Click here  for the 2016 PTF Brochure.  All open loads must be covered and secured.  No credit cards accepted.
NEWLY ACCEPTED PLASTICS FOR RECYCLING
Waupaca County is now accpeting more plastic containers and LIDS for recycling at the drop-off centers and curbside pick-up.  For more information click here.
 

NEW ELECTRONICS PRICING AT PTF

Effective MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2014, all electronics (TV's, computers, computer components, VCR's, DVD players, DVR's, printers, scanners, etc.) will be weighed to determine cost.

Residential Electronics:          $.25 per pound

Commercial Electronics:        $.30 per pound

Oil Filter/Oil Absorbent Recycling
Effective January 1, 2011, oil filters and oil absorbents (in quantities greater than 1 gallon) are banned from disposal in State landfills. Click here for recycling options in Waupaca County.
