Holiday Waste Reduction Tips
 
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. WE WILL BE REOPENING MAY 1st. 

SATURDAY HOURS AT THE PTF - DECEMBER THROUGH FEBRUARY

The PTF is OPEN the THIRD Saturday of the month during the months of December through February from 7 am to Noon. They are CLOSED all other Saturdays.  They are also open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. *Must be scaled in 15 minutes prior to close*

2018 PROCESSING & TRANSFER FACILITY TIPPING FEE
Effective January 1, 2018, the PTF tipping fee for Solid Waste will remain at $72.00 per ton, with a minimum charge of $15.00 for up to 400 lbs.  Click here  for the 2018 PTF Brochure.  All open loads must be covered and secured.  Open loads not covered and secured will be charged an additional $20 fee.  Cash or check only.  No credit cards accepted.

COMPOST BIN SALE
A large 13 cu.ft. bin is just $55.  For more information contact the Solid Waste Dept. at 715-258-6240.
 
NEWLY ACCEPTED PLASTICS FOR RECYCLING
Waupaca County is now accepting more plastic containers and LIDS for recycling at the drop-off centers and curbside pick-up.  For more information click here.

Residential Electronics:          $.25 per pound
Commercial Electronics:        $.30 per pound

SPECIAL EVENT RECYCLING
 
Waupaca County Offers Special Event Recycling free of charge to all Waupaca County residents and businesses by providing clear stream bins. A refundable deposit is paid to use the bins and participants are responsible to bring in their recyclables to a Waupaca County Recycling Drop Off Center. If you are interested in using this program call 715-258-6240 to get more information.
