MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Economic and Employment Support Division is to assist the residents of Waupaca County in obtaining and maintaining an improved quality of life.
We strive to meet the needs of individuals and families by accurate administration of state and federal financial programs.
We are dedicated to maintaining the dignity of our customers by providing professional quality service in a caring and respectful manner.
Waupaca County DHHS divides its Economic and Employment Support into two units: the Family Unit and the Adult Unit.
The Family Unit handles cases that include dependent children in the household. The Family Unit determines eligibility for BadgerCare Plus, FoodShare(food stamps), W-2 and Child Care Assistance.
The Adult Unit handles cases that include elderly over age 65, blind, and disabled individuals, and nursing home residents. The Adult Unit determines eligibility for Medical Assistance and FoodShare (Food Stamps).
