Community Support Program (CSP)

CSP works to support Waupaca County residents living with severe and persistent mental illnesses so they may remain in their community and lead productive lives. This is a long-term maintenance program. The focus of these services is to help consumers become more independent in managing the effects of their illness and to become empowered in leading their own recovery.

Consumers of these services tend to be overwhelmed by the symptoms of their mental illness and unable to function independently in the community. The goal is to reduce the need for repeated treatment and prolonged care in hospital settings. Services in this program may include:

  • Psychiatric care
  • Intensive Medication Management
  • Rehabilitation Services
  • Support with Daily living activities
  • Case Management Services

The CSP program has a team of psychiatrists, a psychologist, nurses, and mental health technicians to make regular contacts in the community.
