Passport Application and Renewal Information

Effective 03/16/2020, the County Clerk's Office has temporarily suspended passport acceptance until further notice. For the latest updates from the U.S. Dept. of State regarding passport issuance, go to https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html and click on the COVID-19 Update - Information for U.S. Passport Customers in the advisory area on the top of their page. The U.S. Dept. of State is advising that the current turnaround time to receive a passport is several months. We will continue to monitor the passport agency and will start accepting applications once they are able to give a general turnaround time to process.

The Waupaca County Clerk's Office is a designated acceptance facility for obtaining a U.S. Passport. You will not receive your passport from us. Our role is to accept completed passport applications and fees for processing.

Passport renewals are sent in by the applicant. Our office can assist with assembly for mailing, but we do not mail them.
