Pay your Waupaca County taxes online
GENERAL INFORMATION
- By Wisconsin State Law, MISSING THE JULY 31st DEADLINE FOR FULL PAYMENT OF THE SECOND INSTALLMENT MEANS THAT YOU WILL BE ASSESSED 1.5% INTEREST AND PENALTY PER MONTH RETROACTIVE TO FEBRUARY 1st (10.5% if paid late).
- If you cannot pay the full balance owed, payments are strongly encouraged. Please contact us with questions or concerns regarding payment arrangements.
- PLEASE NOTE-If you choose to use your bank’s BILL PAY option, be aware that these checks are typically mailed from out of state by third party processors without a postmark on them. Your confirmation information from your bank is not an acceptable proof of a timely payment. We must have an envelope with a postmark or a letter from the post office to prove the payment was mailed by July 31st and a postal delay is responsible for the lateness of your payment per State Statute 74.69.
- Always include your tax parcel number OR reminder card with your payment to ensure that it is applied correctly.
- Mailed payments should include a self addressed stamped envelope for return receipt.
- RECEIPT can be found at waupacacounty-wi.gov. goto Treasurer Dept, Tax bills/tax receipt. Or sending a SASE to the County Treasurer.
